Assassin's Creed: Revelations Details

Assassin's Creed: Revelations will have many exciting new game play features. The upcoming november 2011 expansion to the Assassin's Creed storyline will introduce a new game play addition, the Hookblade. The Hookblade allows Ezio to zip-line across the city of Constantinople and also allows him to grab enemies and pull them towards him Mortal Kombat "Scorpion style," finishing them with deadly and vicious combo attacks. According to Game Informer this addition will increase navigation speed by around 30 percent, who knows how much it will speed up killing enemies in battle. There are also reportedly over three hundred different bomb crafting techniques possible in Revelations, resulting in nearly endless tools at the disposal of the assassin. The Eagle Vision feature of past Assassin's Creed games is now Eagle Sense. It allows the player to see from the point-of-view of others and even allows a calculation of where a target will go next. Using Eagle Sense, you will be able to create complex battle scenarios and even traps with almost precognitive accuracy to assure the demise of your enemies.

Assassin Dens are a new gameplay addition that allows the player to claim and hold territory throughout the city. These dens will be built when a player quells the Templar presence in a sector and these buildings will be upgradeable and are able to be inter-linked with other buildings with zip-lines and other methods, allowing the player to quickly retreat to the safety of the den or escape the den if needed. The player can also select a master assassin to guard the den or call for backup to protect it if it is under attack and the player cannot return fast enough to defend it. Multiplayer is also making a strong comeback in Assassin's Creed: Revelations and it is much different from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. This time, players will be able to create their own characters with unique weapons and unique appearances and challenge others. The ability to create Guilds of assassins is also being introduced in Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Stay tuned for more info on Assassin's Creed: Revelations as the game develops and time passes.
